A long-time collector favorite, this beautifully rendered coin is struck at the Mint’s San Francisco facility. Its obverse (heads) features Adolph A. Weinman’s classic Walking Liberty design depicting a full-length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left. The reverse (tails) features a heraldic eagle with shield, an olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left.
Each coin is encapsulated and packaged in a blue velvet, satin-lined presentation case, placed in a classic blue outer box. For the first time, the Mint has numbered the Certificate of Authenticity that accompanies each coin.
